The Installation Manager workspace

The Installation Manager for Android opens showing the product selection screen. Tap the icon for the product you want to install or update.

Information for the current device is shown at the top of the screen.

• The Device type field shows the type of device that the product can be installed to.
• The Serial number field shows the serial number of the device that the product will be installed to.

When you select the product to install from the product bar, Installation Manager shows:

• The Version field shows the version of the selected product to be installed. If required, select a different version from the drop-down list.
• Tap to view information about the product on spectrageospatial.com.
• Tap Release Notes to go to the website where the current and previous versions of release notes for the selected product are available.

The Install updates tab shows information applicable to the selected product on the connected device. Depending on the selected product, other tabs may be available. See To install or update software.

The Relinquish licenses tab appears if you can remove the software license from the connected device so that it can be transferred to a new device. See To relinquish software licenses.

From any screen in the software, tap to access the following:

• Tap Download license to update the software license only, without the need for software installation.

  This is useful if you unintentionally uninstall Installation Manager or if you have extended your software maintenance and your application fails to run. To be able to run it, re-install Installation Manager and then tap Download license to reinstall the license.

• Tap About to view information about the current version of Installation Manager.

  If you need to contact Spectra Geospatial Support, view the About dialog and note the version number of the Installation Manager software installed, the ID of the computer being used to run it. To copy the serial number to the clipboard, tap .

  Tap to view and save the Installation Manager log file, or tap to share it with someone else.

  To close the About dialog tap OK.

• Tap Refresh to perform a new check for updates for the connected device.
• Tap Help to view the Installation Manager for Android Help.
