To stake out to the alignment

1. Tap the alignment in the map or select To the alignment in the Stake field.
2. If construction offsets are required, tap and hold in the map and select Define construction offsets. Enter values in the Construction offsets field. See Construction offsets.
3. Tap Start.

4. Navigate relative to the alignment.

   A dashed green line is drawn at a right angle from your current position to the alignment. The elevation of your current position and the design elevation of the computed position are shown.

   To switch between the plan view and the cross section view, tap .

   The cross section shows your current position and the target, and is orientated in the direction of increasing station. Construction offset(s) appear as green lines. If construction offsets are specified, the smaller single circle indicates the selected position and the double circle indicates the selected position adjusted for the construction offset(s).

5. When the point is within tolerance, tap Measure to measure the point.

6. Tap Accept to store the point.
7. If you selected the View before storage option, the staked deltas you selected in the Stakeout options screen are shown. Tap Store.
